What bigger mowers mean
Not only do bigger mowers mean less time mowing; they also have less impact on your field (fewer swipes), as well as provide better pricing for you, the customer. Mowing annual weeds before they go to seed will usually control them. Perennial weeds require a different approach. Mowing once won't control these weeds. However, mowing at an interval timeframe that allows these plants to regrow to 8-12 inches between mowings will eventually kill these plants. Because this may weaken desirable species, it's imperitive to combine this strategy with general pasture improvement.
